My name is Brent Mischnick, and this is my second year as a Digital Learning Specialist for ESC Region 11 in White Settlement, Texas.  I am originally from the Chicago area and have lived in various places, including Tampa, New Orleans, and Las Vegas. I am a huge sports fan, especially of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and the Florida Gators. I graduated from Webber International University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Sport Management. I was also a pitcher on the baseball team.

I am married and have four daughters, Reagan (10), Abigail (8), Hannah (6), and Grace (3). I consider myself a lifelong learner, and I believe that technology is a great way to allow students to grow in their own unique way. I completed my M.Ed. in Digital Learning and Leading at Lamar University (Dec. 2019) and continue to use what I have learned to support the many districts in Region 11.
